My family lives in Northern Finland (250 km drive south from the Arctic Circle) in little village named Välikylä (Jääli). Välikylä is part of municipality named Kiiminki and is situated near by Oulu. My family consist of me and my common-law husband Ilkka and our four dogs; Candy, Luca and Rodi.

My love for the dogs was born many years ago. My first own race was Rottweiler, which I have had four; JK3 Pikiturkit Emilia, Fin Mva JK3 Finnrott’s Hero, Thunderweiler Aleksandra and Rottwood Ives. My first Golden Retriever came to my family when I had the third Rottweiler. Dogs which live with us nowadays can be foud from page "Dogs"

We take an interest in many things with our dogs. We train to our dogs the basic obedience and train them also for the retrievers qualifying test. The most prevalent hobby anyway is the dogshows.

I have also participated the society activities in dog clubs and I am obedience trainer guide, official in different trials (obedience and service dog) and official in the dog show rings. I have been the trainer guide for several years in obedience and service dog hobbies.

All my litters grow with the family seeing everyday life. I also familiarize puppies to touching in every way, other dogs in family, children, game animals, show posture…etc

My goal in breeding is to breed health Goldens which have the golden character, are easy to train and have also pleasing appearance.

Nowadays my breeding of Goldens has stopped for a while, because of finding of Sensoric Neuropathy and bitches behind this disease from Finnish Goldens. Because of this disease, all bitches which had couple of bitches (listed in pages of Golden Ring) in their bitch lines, should be removed from breeding. My bitch lines did have those bitches, so I also had to stop using my bitches in my breeding. Next step would be to start breeding again with the new bitch and line.
